Over sixty-seven years ago in the Majorcan town of Lloseta, master cobbler Bartolomé Alcover founded a small workshop for making unique, handcrafted footwear. His goal was simply to produce the best shoe, and thus the BAY brand was born.

In the early sixties, his solid work ethic and experience were instilled in his son Francisco, and the craftsman philosophy became a tradition as well as an essential part of the manufacturing process for our footwear.

That small workshop, now representing one of the industry’s top brands, manufactures each and every shoe according to the original guidelines in order to offer its customers a product of elite craftsmanship.
